Effective November 15, 2024, MCNA has implemented the use of CDT code D9997 (dental case management – patients with special health care needs) to appropriately identify members with special needs. For more information regarding the use of D9997, please review our latest provider bulletin.

We have updated our Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGs). MCNA's approved CPGs can be found under the "Guides and Tools" section of our website and the "Support and Downloads" page in the Provider Portal.

We would like to remind you that Iowa Medicaid providers must complete enrollment revalidation every five years to remain compliant with federal regulations.
