We would like to remind you that Iowa Medicaid providers must complete enrollment revalidation every five years to remain compliant with federal regulations. Please read our provider bulletin to learn more and link to the Informational Letter on this topic from Iowa Department of Health and Human Services published July 25, 2024.

A new version of the Iowa Dental Wellness Plan Provider Manual is now available. A list of the changes included in this version is available in the Revision History located near the front of the manual. An updated Fee Schedule effective January 1, 2024, is also available. Please read our provider bulletin for more information.

MCNA is excited to announce a new feature added to our website and Provider Portal. Now you can use our Provider Relations (PR) Territory Map to see which of our skilled PR team members is dedicated to your office and find other important contact information.

If you are a provider who has been displaced due to flooding and are unable to provide services from the location at which you are currently enrolled with Iowa Medicaid, there is no need to enroll a temporary location. Instead, you may continue to utilize your enrollment information, including location address, that is currently on file with Iowa Medicaid. If services are being rendered at a temporary location due to flooding, please indicate this on your patients’ charts. Please refer to the Informational Letter No. 2615-MC-FFS-D from HHS for more.

Claims clearinghouse Change Healthcare recently experienced a cyber security issue that may have affected your practice's ability to submit patient claims and prior authorizations. Claims received through alternative methods will result in timely processing and payment. Please read our provider bulletin to learn more.
