The HHS Office of Minority Health's National Standards for Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) in Health and Health Care is offering a free, online educational program that supports the delivery of culturally and linguistically competent services. Dentists, Dental Hygienists, and any other oral health professional interested may complete this e-learning Cultural Competency Program. MCNA encourages all network providers to learn more and begin the program on the HHS website.

Effective of April 1, 2021, the Iowa Medicaid Enterprise (IME) is allowing dental providers to render services via asynchronous teledentistry (D9996). Only certain service codes are billable. Click here to learn more and find links to additional guidance from IME.
